Hall Bath Update

A leaking toilet damaged the bath floor forcing an unexpected remodel. A typical gut renovation could cost $30,000 or more and take three to four weeks. Our clients did not want to be without use of the bath for that long and since this was an unplanned expense they also wanted to keep the costs lower.

Using the Bath Planet system we were able to complete renovated the bathroom in under two weeks and for about $10,000 less than a tiled shower remodel.

This bathroomis primarily used by thier young daughter so our designers worked with them to make it fit her style but also make sure the deisgn would stand the test of time.

Project Details

Fairfield Shower Panels in Grasscloth

Our acrylic panels are available in several styles and colors. You can choose from smooth panels in a variety of colors, tile look panels with simulated grout and tile look panels with realistic grout.

This client wanted a contemporary look for thier shower that would stand the test of time.  Bath Planet’s Fairfiled Pattern was the perfect fit. The also chose the basketweave color to match the countertop they chose. The Reveal grout really helps the pattern pop.

32×60 Acrylic Tub with Straight Skirt

For this project we choose a tub with a simple straight skirt for it’s clean look that would match the travertine panels perfectly. We made the new tub a couple of inches wider than their old one, to make sure the floor tile, which they were keeping, was covered.

Complete Hall Bath Update

At Bath Planet we specialize in shower updates but because we are also licensed contractors we do full bath remodels too. For this project the clients wanted a complete remodel so we also helped them choose a vanity, countertop, flooring and paint colors.

Countertops

The Countertops is Cambria Montgomery. Cambria is our favorite brand of quartz and is made right here in the USA.

Cabinets

The Cabinets are 1330 Series from Bellmont. We chose a gloss white Tempo door style to go with the contempory shower and because the smooth panel is easy to clean and very durable.

Mirror

The mirror is a custom frame from Precesion Frameworks.

Floating Shelves

We had our carpenter make some custom shelves from Ash and stain them to go with the flooring.

Toilet and Accessories

The new toilet and bath accessories are from Fergusson. We choose a skirted toilet both for it’s contemporary look and because it is easier to clean.

Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

The flooring is an LVP from Mohawk. We locce LVP in the bath because it’s 100% waterproof, warmer than tile and easy to clean.

Project Timeline and Cost

In total this project cost about $20,000 and took just under two weeks to complete.
